Clean Eating

So I am doing another challenge at boot camp…no surprise there right? I mean what else will I do with all my spare time. People ask me why I am doing the challenge even though I am already a member and basically get the same workouts as in the challenge. Well honestly, I feel like I push myself more if I am competing. I am in no way a competitive person, but just knowing its a competition, I try to watch what I am eating, I try to juice more and I feel like I work out harder.

So I have nine weeks of trying to stay on the right path, which is so hard on the people that is around me. I know, because I make it a priority not to miss any classes, when you have to go out to eat its tough, as I don’t want to drink and ruin my workout the next day, but again you want to please everyone and try to fit in yah know?

With the nine week challenge in full swing…I am trying to do 5 nights of healthy dinners. Dinner time is my weak spot…as when I get home I am hungry like a wolf and everything sounds delicious when I am hungry…and yes I get very crabby when I am hungry too.


My monster likes to say to me, just eat nini please. LMBO

Monday night’s dinner was Steak and sautéed vegetables, with a salad. To make it as simple as can be and quick, I used a store bough Cajun spice rub and added a dab of butter to make it interesting!

One trick I have learned along the way of this clean eating is to eat lots of protein and vegetables…nothing new there right? Well make those vegetables sexy! Add onions, garlic, ginger, paprika…some chopped green onions…those vegetables will come alive and it will fill you up!
