High Protein Chicken Burgers/Patties

I hope your year will be filled with good things and yummy food!

As per the norm we are starting the year off with a healthy bite! I actually make this on a regular basis and just never thought to post it. But since its the new year and everyone is looking to eat healthy at least for the first month, until we all fall off the scale this is a great recipe to have.


I count my macros and this is something that I can make ahead and reheat when its time to eat. I am not someone who likes to eat the same thing everyday, but these do come in handy when I am out of ideas to cook or I need something quick and easy. It also uses basic pantry ingredients/spices.

I make these in my air fryer because, well why not? But you can grill or bak these little suckers. I portioned mine out to 4 ounces each. Each patty was 160 calories, 6 grams of fat, 21 grams of protein and 0 carbs. Amazon sells this burger bun call smart bun, I usually eat mine with that and this gives me a total of 205 calories. The bun is 45 calories each.

if you are trying to make the right choices this year, food wise, this is one of those that you must add to your list. It takes me no time to throw this together. Give it a shot and see how it goes.
