I love Thai food! I love their curries, and the heat that comes with it. Of course I love all things spicy. There is a little Chinese restaurant in the skyway where I work and it has these Spicy Noodles on Tuesdays. It has a dark, semi sweet, Spicy sauce that the noodles is cooked in. So good!
The lines are always long too. Sometimes you have to wait about 15 minutes for it to be cooked fresh! Theirs is made with chicken, I made mine with Ground Pork as its easier for me.
You need a good amount of basil for this dish. I used an entire package in mine. It brings out the freshness that herbs do with food. Try to prep all your veggies before you start cooking as once you start it will go by quickly.
I used Serrano chilies because I did not want to deal with the tummy burns after. I wanted to tone down the heat a wee bit. This dish does NOT contain any alcohol as the name says, it is named Drunken Noodles because of the heat level that usually comes with this dish. The more the heat, the more beer you drink to cool down.
This was Thai Pork drunken Noodles Dish was dinner and lunch!
