I now know why, we only eat Turkey once for the year! After eating al that left overs for days, I can safely say, I don’t want to see Turkey and its fixings for another year!
This year I did Turkey three ways and Ham as well. I will shar some pictures of what my Tukey looked like. No basting! Which I love.
Today of course we got about 6 inches of snow, the first snowfall for the year. So you know we are all driving like old people on the road, so you cannot get anywhere quickly.
This Stuffed Pork Loin recipe I did to take to a brunch. I wanted to use up the left over odds and ends that I had in my fridge before it goes bad. You really cannot go wrong with it.
The stuffing inside has sweet, dried cranberries, cornbread, and celery. I seasoned the outside of the pork with a fresh herb marinade. The marinade is worth this. I roasted the pork on high heat to sear the outside and then I allowed it to slow cook. This method helped to keep the moisture inside the pork.
And of course the sweet and spicy glaze on the outside sealed the deal!
