I will be MIA for the next few days. I am taking a vacation from cooking! I am turning down my pots! I will be happily stretching my tummy to its limits in New Orleans! Yup, I am going down their with my gal pals for the Jazz festival. Going to have me some po-boys, so be ready for some recipes when I get back!

I know it will be very unhealthy for me and I don’t care! I will be eating every po-boy I get my hands on! Those poor po-boys! I love jambalaya and grits and shrimp and crayfish, oh my I cannot wait!

And yes I still have the dreaded packing to do. I can never decide on what I want to take. I mean, I need every pair of shoes and top in my closet! I do, know 1 outfit can be worn twice with the same pair of shoes. Especially when I will be taping my feet to some Lauryn Hill! Oh Yeah…I said Lauryn Hill!


Before I leave you all I am sharing this awesome Jerk Pork Stuffed Bakes recipe. I used my left over Jerk Pork and added some BBQ Sauce to it and stuffed it in some dough and deep fried it! Talk about deep fried heave! Getting ready for the State Fair and all that fried food. I just need to add a stick to this and it can go to the state fair!
