I am back from my vacation in New Orleans! I will post pictures of food and the sights later on.

For now, I am focusing on getting my butt back on track after eating my way through New Orleans. I am constantly testing out new ways of being able to stomach the juicing. While I love eating kale in everything, from salads to soups, I will admit it is hard to stomach it in my juicing.

Growing up we used to make a Carrot Juice. The carrots was blended up in the blender, pulp and all. Then we added water, milk and sugar. It was delicious, but so unhealthy because of all the sugar and heavy cream.


In my Carrot Juice, I added celery and apple juice. You can totally drink this like this, but its so smooth with the milk and the essence to give it a unique taste.

And its really good for you!

Isn’t it funny how all the most unhealthy stuff seem to taste the best. Yeah growing up I used to love it when my Auntie made Carrot juice and added the Condensed Milk. I even used to love just drinking the Condensed Milk straight out the can. My Auntie in all her wisdom used to say that wasn’t good for me doing that. But back then I had a high octane metabolic rate. Oh how times have changed.
