The last 6 months has been a rollercoaster of a ride for me! One Sugar Kubes adventure after another. A little up and down, while learning how to adjust to that newness, and of course every new adventure will have obstacles thrown in there, its how we deal with those obstacles. All in all it has been a fantastic 6 months that has been simply amazing for me. I am looking forward to the see what the future holds…but in the mean time how about homemade bread!
I have tried to make this particular bread before…the first time I tried to make it, a freak storm passed through my area and took the power out…for 3 freaking days! My dough was already resting…but no way to light the oven and I did not want to risk heating up the house with no AC.
Needless to say, I tried again when the power came back…only this time I used milk instead of water…not good…those buns were rock hard! Though I would really like rock hard buns, the ones I had to eat I wanted it to be a little softer. So out went that batch as well.
On the third try…it came out perfect! As perfect as can be. The monster even ate a whole one herself as it came out of the oven! I was so proud of these babies. Inside was so soft and fluffy it was amazing! Stay tuned for my amazing hotdog recipe!
