Spring is in the air! I cannot wait to hear the rain falling…preferably at night!
Yesterday in MN was a beautiful! 70 degrees! Everyone was out in their shorts and riding their bikes or going for a run. Of course 70 degrees in fall is completely different. We would all be bundled up saying how cold it is! LOL
I cannot wait to be out in my garden, and to grill every evening! I love grilling. It is the easiest thing to do after work.
So to celebrate our wonderful Spring weather I grilled up some tasty lamb burgers! I am not a burger person first off. But I do know how to make a mean burger! I had eaten a burger a few years ago and gotten food poisoning…NOT a nice feeling let me tell you! I was out of town for work no less, so I was holed up in a hotel with no restaurant on site either! I was so weak.
Nevertheless my Lamb Burgers was delicious! Lamb do need aromatics to liven it up. It needs that tang to make the lamb pop in your mouth. There are some strange ingredients in this burger, but do not be afraid of it. I promise it is worth it. At any Asian grocery store you will find dark soy sauce and tamarind concentrate. I walked the entire store before I found my tamarind concentrate! I swore I walked pass it at least three times and never saw it. Finally I asked someone and walla! It was right in front of me. Don’t you just hate when that happens.
