Parasailing with my Sugar Kubes!

by TastesSpicy

Oh yeah…I know I have been missing for the last two weeks. While I did miss cooking and eating normal food I will admit, after returning from my Key West adventures it was a little hard to get motivated in the kitchen again.

Key West surely was an adventure let me tell you! Apart from how hot and muggy it was, I had a fantastic time with one of my favorite people, who made it all the more worth while.

It was an extremely relaxing 5 days…I wish I can go back, but not when its that hot. My skin is still trying to recover from the heat. I break out in hives from the heat…yes weird since I come from an island right.

I think I laid in the ocean floating around with my noodle for 4-5 hours each day, hence the effects of the sun on my skin now.

One of most adventurous endeavors was going Parasailing, 300 feet above the Atlantic Ocean! I was nervous but not as bad as I thought I was going to be. I think Sugar Kubes was more nervous, but once we got up in the air and saw how quiet and peaceful it was, we both relaxed a little bit.

If you ever get the chance to do it, I would say go for it. It was smooth sailing from the very beginning to the end.

And after coming from a place where fresh seafood is in abundance how fitting is this recipe! Ginger Seafood Curry. I love fresh seafood as you all know. I wanted to try using ginger in it as well as it give it that spicy, fresh kick. Ginger and Seafood literally goes hand in hand! And since I am writing an article on Ginger, be prepared for a sleuth of ginger recipes coming soon!
