The monster has this project to build a scene from the movie Tuck Everlasting. This is the first time I have ever heard about the movie. So just imagine me trying to help her build this house!
So I decided to rent the movie from iTunes so I can see what the Tuck’s House looks like…the movie is an hour and forty seven minutes. I think I made it through the first 15 minutes before I fell asleep. Now iTunes rentals are only 24 hours once you start watch the movie.
So the next day I try to watch the movie again…and sure enough I fell right off to sleep…and that was in the middle of the day! The monster was very upset with me as I was supposed to watch the movie and then take her to Michaels to get her supplies to make the house.
So to sweeten her up a little I made her favorite! Pork and Chicken Empanadas! She loves, loves empanadas. I make it small so she can just grab it like a snack and go.
I used store bought pie crust which cuts the time in half! Super easy and wonderful for your next gathering. I shall tell you how the project for Tuck’s house goes next week!
