Okay so I heard there is a difference between being in a relationship and dating? Now I can argue this two ways. This is strictly my opinion as we may all have varying views of this.
For the first one I understand dating is different from being in a relationship, as people who a dating can say “we are just dating and is therefore free to date whomever they want to and can date more than 1 person at the same time” versus people who are in a relationship can say “we are in a committed relationship and is past the stage of dating”.
Now for the second one and this is the one that I more or less agree with, to me being in a relationship does mean dating, and by dating I mean still going out on dates with that same one person. I don’t want to just hook up with one person and then after a few months you say to yourself “Oh we are in a relationship now so we can just sit on the couch as a date night”. Er no…that is not what I think of as a relationship.
In any romantic/love relationship you have to date each other and I think you should date each other for a lifetime, even if you are married, why can’t you date your wife or your husband? The day you stop dating each other then guess what, you get into this routine and you forget the romance and you forget each other and what that person made you feel. Take me out so I can get dressed up and you can see me in something other than my sweat pants or in my case my exercise clothes! The End.
