Recipe
For the Sauce
1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon corn starch
For the Roasted Tomatoes
1 cup of cherry tomatoes
1 teaspoon olive oil
pinch of salt
For the dish
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup of water
Cooked Pappardelle
1 teaspoon fresh garlic
1 teaspoon fresh ginger
1 shallot, diced
2-3 thai chillis
1 sweet green bell pepper
1 heaping cup of basil
Directions
For the sauce, mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
For the roasted tomatoes, mix all the ingredients together and roast in the over at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Set aside.
Cook your pasta according to the directions on the box.
Heat a wok on the stove and add the ground beef.
Break up the beef and brown. Add the 1/2 cup of water. Continue to cook.
Add in the shallots, garlic, ginger and peppers. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add in the roasted tomatoes.
Add in the sauce and pasta. Mix everything until the pasta is well coated.
Turn off the heat and add in the basil.
Serve Hot!
