Recipe
1 package of drumsticks or any cut of chicken of your choice
5 cloves of garlic
1 knob of ginger (the more ginger and garlic you have the better the flavor)
6 Thai chili peppers (optional, adjust to your heat level)
1 bunch of cilantro
1 sprig of thyme
1 stalk of rosemary
1 stalk of oregano
1 tsp of ground clove
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 can of beer (for spraying your grilled chicken)
Directions
Clean up the chicken first by cutting any hanging skin or pieces of fat. Wash the chicken thoroughly with the lime juice. This helps to reduce the taste of gaminess in any meat. Rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.
Combine the fresh garlic, ginger, chili peppers, fresh garden herbs and the cilantro using a food processor or blender. Pulse into a smooth paste.
Season the meat with the fresh herb mixture and add salt, black pepper and the ground cloves. Mix thoroughly coating all pieces of the chicken. Cover and place in your ice box for an hour or more to let it marinate.
Pre-heat your grill to medium high. I recommend using a paper towel to oil your grill prior to grilling your meat to avoid sticking.
Start placing your meat on your well heated grill making sure to spread them evenly throughout the grill so that they each cook evenly.
Oh if only you had smeller-net to smell how heavenly these smell with the fresh herbs. While on the grill I pour some beer in a cup or spray bottle and
I spray the chicken about every 10 minutes to avoid burning or drying out. Depending on the size of your drum sticks and the type of grill
you are using…it should take about 20-25 minutes to grill your meat.
