Recipe
1 can of condensed milk
1 1/2 cup of milk
3 egg yolks
1 can of dulche de leche
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
15-20 vanilla flavored cookies
2 tablespoon softened butter
Directions
To a sauce pan on low heat, add the condensed milk, milk, and strain in 3 egg yolks. Keep stirring until it has thickened. Set aside to cool.
Whip the heavy cream until peaks form. Fold in the whip cream with the condensed milk mixture. Place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
In a food processor add the cookies and break down until it is crumbly. Add in the butter until it starts to hold together to form a crust.
Line a cake pan, with plastic wrap. Add in half the crumbled cookies to the bottom of the pan. Pat it down flat. Pour in half of the cream mix and spread evenly. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, spread on the dulche de leche. Top off with the rest of the cream mix and cookie crumbles.
Wrap it around with the plastic wrap and freeze for at least 3 hours.
Note the dulche de leche won’t get hard.
This is a super sweet dessert. So I suggest slicing thinly to serve.
Enjoy!
