Recipe
2 cuts of your favorite type of meat (I used Ribeye)
1 teaspoon of your favorite coffee grounds (fine)
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan sea salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of good olive oil
Directions
Mix the coffee grounds, brown sugar, paprika, sea salt and black pepper together in a small dish.
Rub the olive oil over your steak first. Then sprinkle the rub generously over the meat. Rub it in with your fingers.
Set the steak aside to marinate for about 30 minutes. (Out of the fridge so that it comes to room temperature when you are ready to grill.
Fire up your grill to heat well. I heat mine to 400 degrees.
It depends on the size and cut of meat you are using for how long to cook your steak to.
I like mine medium with a warm pink center.
I cooked it one the first side for 4 minutes and I do not touch it. Let it sear.
I flip it over and cook it for 3 more minutes on the other side. My cut of meat was fairly thick. So it took a total of 7 minute’s.
Let the steak rest for a good 5 minutes before slicing it. Very important you let it rest. Or all the juice will run out leaving you with a dry steak.
Enjoy!
