Recipe
1 cup of water
1 cup of apple cider vinegar
1 guajillo pepper pod (pronounced wa-he-ho) found in the Mexican section of your grocery
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon of fresh ground garlic
1 cup of fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice powder
Directions
Add all the ingredients to a sauce pan and let it simmer on low heat for 45 minutes.
After simmering for 45 minutes, remove from heat and add to a food processor and pulse to a smooth sauce.
Strain out the seeds and chunks. Replace the sauce back on the stove to thicken up some more. When its thick enough remove and taste.
Use on your favorite piece of meat. I used mine on my Blueberry BBQ Pork Ribs.
It really was delicious.
