2 1/3 cups of bread flour

1/8 cup of sugar

1 1/2 tablespoons milk powder

200 Milliliters of milk

2 egg yolks

1 teaspoon instant yeast

2 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon powdered sugar.


To the bowl of a stand mixer, add all of the ingredients above and mix on a speed of 2.

Once everything is combined, empty the dough onto a floured surface. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes with your hands.

Cover with a damp towel and let it rest for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, empty the dough on a clean surface and roll out to about 1 1-2 inch thick.

Cut into 8 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball.

Cover with plastic wrap and leave for 15 more minutes.

Butter the baking dish you will be using and set aside until ready to use.

After 15 minutes, roll each piece out and then roll into a log shape. Line the log shaped dough along the baking dish.

Brush the tops of the bread with soft butter.

Bake for 15-17 minutes of a temp of 340 degrees F.

Remove from the oven and turn it over onto a cookie wire rack.

While it is still hot , brush the tops with butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
