3 ounces vodka (any type you like)
1 ounce pear liqueur
1 ounce sparkling pear juice
1 ounce ginger syrup (recipe below)
Directions for Ginger syrup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 pound fresh ginger, peeled and sliced about 1/4 inch think
Combine all ingredients for the simple syrup in a sauce pan on low heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Leave on low (all the way down low) heat for 20 minutes.
Let cool, strain to remove the ginger pieces and pour into a jar and refrigerate.
Directions for Martini
To a shaker, add crushed ice and all ingredients from the martini list above. Shake, shake, shake. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with pear cubes skewed onto a martini pick!
